Can you believe it’s almost summer? I think most of us sheltered in place for most of the spring. Chances are, your kids are out of school (or virtual school). If so, it’s a good time to roll out some LEGO challenges. (Although, is there a bad time to issue LEGO challenges?). I know the month is underway, but you still have time to complete these 25 June LEGO challenges.

The idea for June LEGO Challenges
A reader asked me if I had LEGO challenges for every month. I told her I did not, but I would consider creating one per month. Voila! Hopefully this is the start of once a month LEGO challenges. I say hopefully because I know that life happens and things can change quickly. The last three months are proof of that!
How did I choose the challenges?
I consulted a calendar of “bizarre, unique, and special holidays” for June 2020. Using the ideas on the list, I chose 25 of them to include in the June LEGO challenges printable. Why did I chose 25 and not 30? I know I am not speaking to everyone here, but I thought some parents might want to take some breaks during the month. If your kids are clamoring for one a day however, make the unscheduled days “free build” days. That means your kids can make whatever they want.
Need some inspiration?
You can Google to find tutorials, but I found several fabulous sites to guide you through some of the challenges I put on the sheet.
Frugalfun4boys.com has a lotta lotta LEGO tutorials. You can search for particular builds, or you can browse through their content. I searched for “cats” since it is on this month’s challenge and sure enough, I found a tutorial.
Lego.com of course sells LEGO products. It also showcases some “inspirational builds” that you can try yourself by downloading the instructions.
YouTube is another source for tutorials. Legoaccess.com has a nice selection of instructions you can follow. I even found an phone tutorial for this month’s challenge.
Do you need some Duplo ideas for little ones? Legofamily has 50 DIY Duplo projects for your kids to try out.

I also made 25 Disney themed challenges. These challenges correspond to specific Disney movies.
