When I started making these illustrated Mom Quotes, I wanted to give them some fun pithy alliterative name. I came up with “Monthly Mom Merriment.” It seemed clever at the time, but then I realized that the title was a little clunky. I decided to streamline the name to “Monthly Mom Quote.” A little more vanilla, but more descriptive. Then again there are those who prefer vanilla, which I don’t quite understand, because well, it’s not chocolate.
I can attest to the truth of this month’s quote. Silence is suspect when kids are around. On the other end of silence I have found a box of Kix cereal dumped behind the couch, sinks filled to the top with soapy water, kids slathered in diaper rash ointment, walls covered with marker, kids licking the tops off of a tray of homemade donuts…I could go on and on and on. I’m sure you can relate! I hope you can enjoy some stress free silence this month. 🙂
