Week a glace chart wreaths free printable

This post will be short on words, but big on images. In trying to keep my life a little more organized, I created a Week at a Glance printable. I started off with one, and decided that I would like more options. The result is 8 versions of my week at a glance free printable that I want to share with you.

Why I use a Week at a Glance Printable

Since I have a lot of humans living in my house, I have to answer a lot of questions. One of the most popular questions starts with “When,” such as “When am I going to girls’ club this week?” Not being the sharpest pencil in the box, I used to answer those questions. Then I discovered that I was answering the same question again, and again, and again, etc. I grew weary of having to repeat myself, so I made a chart which lists out our activities for the week.

How I use my Week at a glance chart

I wanted my chart to be visible to all and reusable. To accomplish that goal, I put my chart in an 8″ x 10″ frame (one with no mat). Any frame will do, I just use one from a dollar store. Every Sunday night I fill out the week’s schedule with a dry erase marker. I only include the events that are not a part of our normal weekly or daily routine. For instance, we do martial arts twice a week. Since we go the same two days every week, I do not include that on the chart. I will include when we have co-op, since that occurs every other week.

Other items I write down are birthdays, appointments, holidays, and vacation days. If one of my people needs to know about an event further down the road, he/she can consult the master calendar that I keep in the kitchen. If you are interested in a free two page per month fully editable 2020 calendar, you can check out my post here.

A thin tipped dry erase marker is better to use versus a broad tip. I have tried several, and by far these are my favorite. (Disclosure that as an affiliate I may receive a small amount from Amazon if you click through my link.)

Command hooks are a great option for hanging picture frames. They are easy to use and will prevent you from having to put too many nail holes in your walls. The ones pictured below will hold 4 lbs. Others will hold up to 16 lbs.

So many options

As you can see, there are two different styles to choose from and varying versions of each style. You’ll find them all in my free resource library. Simply sign up below and you will receive a password to the library. I hope you find one that works for you!.
